About us

Your host Michel Kreiss looks forward to welcoming you at this timeless location, which former managers Annie and François Paul transformed into a local institution: a sanctuary where guests come to switch off from the outside world. At Le Moulin, we understand that true luxury is just taking a moment to stop and breathe, be in nature, do whatever the mood takes you – even if that means doing nothing at all.

Located about 30 minutes from Strasbourg at the fringes of the idyllic Northern Vosges Regional Nature Reserve, this former gristmill – converted into a hotel and fully renovated – will charm you with its authentic features and its tranquil environs where the subtle scent of wild herbs and flowers lingers in the air.

Reserve a table at our on-site restaurant Les Jardins du Moulin, and take in views of the river as you savour the delicious morsels on the menu.

Arnaud Zinck and his team will tempt your tastebuds with dishes prepared using local produce that changes with the seasons.

Or choose from a host of other local places to dine:

A two-Michelin-starred restaurant La Merise, in Laubach, 10 minutes away
 – Restaurant Le Cygne, just 300 metres from our hotel
 – A traditional "winstub" Zuem Buerestubel, in Niederbronn-les-Bains, 10 minutes away
 – Restaurant Les Akcias, in Niederbronn-les-Bains, 10 minutes away
